Bark-alyzers
Wouldnt it be fantastic to be able to translate
what your dog is trying to tell you? And eavesdropping on your canines
conversations during the day could really help shed some light on
why it destroys the lawn furniture and digs up the back yard while
you are away. The Japanese electronics company, Takara, has developed
a bark translator.
The Bow-lingual is a small device that attached to
a dogs collar. It has been programmed to interpret what your
dog is saying by analyzing the pitch, repetitive nature and other
characteristics of its vocalizations. It then sends this information
to a pet owners hand held Emotion Pager, via voice print
infrared beams. The translator can infer 60 emotions into 200 different
words. If you want to know more about your dogs psyche, you
can opt for the 24 Hr. Dog Diary. This alternative mood
recorder will give the pet owner a daily journal incorporating 100
pre-programmed sentences.
One of the best interpreters of your dogs emotions is you.
Understanding your pet better can be very useful. The device,
though intriguing may fall short of the mark. One of the best interpreters
of your dogs emotions is you. You know your pet better than
anyone else. So much of what a person says is linked not just to
words but also to body language and tone of voice. The same hold
true for our pets. A happy bark, a frustrated huff, a low pitched
rumble can all give you a clue to what is happening between your
dogs ears. With a price tag of $103, a pet caregiver may better
spend their resources on a physical examination by their veterinarian
if you suspect that your pet is trying to tell you something is
wrong, and this is important because it is Your Pet.Health
Matters.
