4H Comes to the City.

A new program has begun in Los Angeles County where 25% of California's children reside. The 4H has long been considered a program for children living in rural areas. Thanks to University of California at Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, 4H is being brought to the city.

"Animal Ambassadors" is an educational program that is being piloted in 14 inner city elementary schools. The program's goals are to teach children responsibility, how to care for animals and to help them develop critical thinking skills.
