Does Natural Flea Control Really Work?
Fleas, they can make your pet itchy and scratch until it bleeds,
spread internal parasites plus they can also bite the family. We
need to eradicate these pests but not at the expense of our pet's
health or ours. Natural or organic measures have been tried for
years, but their effectiveness has not be proven. Dr. Michael Dryden,
a nationally recognized veterinary flea expert reports that even
though using natural products like garlic or spritzing your pets
with essence of rosemary or lavender may seem like a good idea,
they do little for the pet. Other measures such as cedar shavings,
pine resin or pennyroyal oil could potentially cause harm.
Safe and effective methods for flea control are presently available
from your veterinarian. They include a once a month pill., an injections
given every six months or topical products that kill fleas up to
three months with one application. Flea control is now easy, safe
and effective.
